COTTAGE #1 - Maximum 5 Guests 

3 Bedrooms / 1 Bath 

Surrounded by a beautiful summer garden, our smallest cottage, 

Cottage #1, has 3 comfortable bedrooms & 1 sunny bath. It is 

often rented by smaller families as well as by couples looking for 

a relaxing week in the country. It has an eat-in kitchen featuring 

full-size appliances, a blender, microwave, toaster oven, coffee

maker & all the kitchen furnishings you will need for your week 

at the lake. The first bedroom features a full-size bed, the second 

has 2 twins & the third has 1 twin.  The bathroom has a shower.  

The screened dining porch is quite large & has a dining set as well

as comfortable porch furniture. The best part of the porch is the 

view of beautiful Schroon Lake. Cottage #1 also comes with your 

very own Weber charcoal grill; perfect for cooking up juicy burgers 

after a tough day to Chamlar's private beach!  If you're looking for 

a cozy, country cottage right on Schroon Lake, Cottage #1 is the 

place for you!  Prettily decorated & very, very neat & clean, this 

cottage is a favorite with many of Chamlar's guests.  Cottage #1

 will sleep a MAXIMUM OF 5 GUESTS.

COTTAGE #2 - Maximum 8 Guests

4 Bedrooms / 2 Baths 

A "townhouse" style unit, Cottage #2 (righthand entrance) gives you a

lot of space for the money! With 4 sizable bedrooms & 2 full baths,

this cottage accommodates UP TO 8 GUESTS. The first floor's 

living space is quite large & features a comfortable sitting area &

a spacious eat-in kitchen. The  kitchen has everything you could

possibly need to set up housekeeping for your week at the lake:

dishes, cookware, glassware, flatware, etc. It also has full-size

appliances, a microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker & blender

(can you say "Pina Colada"?).  Do you have older friends or family

who don't like climbing stairs? Not a problem in Cottage #2! The 

large first floor also has a comfortably-sized bedroom with a

queen-size bed & a full bath with shower. Upstairs there are 3

more large bedrooms that have been newly painted & decorated;

two with queen beds & one with two twins. There is also another 

full bath upstairs, featuring a good old fashioned claw-footed tub...

great for a nice, relaxing soak after a long day hiking or for washing 

up the little ones. However, the spacious new screened dining porch 

is where you'll spend most of your time. It features a dining set as 

well as comfortable porch furniture & a beautiful view of the lake & 

central lawn.  As with all our cottages, Cottage #2 is very neat & 

clean, & comes with WiFi & its own large Weber charcoal grill.

 COTTAGE #3 - Maximum 8 Guests

4 Bedrooms /2 Baths

Can you say "PERFECT!!??"  Chamlar's guests just rave about this

large unit!   Cottage #3 is a bright & airy "townhouse style" cottage

located very close to the lakefront.  It sleeps UP TO 8 GUESTS 

comfortably in its 4 big bedrooms. The livingroom has plenty of 

seating for the whole family. The  eat-in kitchen features a blender

(for some cool Margaritas on a hot summer night) coffeemaker,

microwave, toaster oven, as well as full-size appliances. Fully 

furnished with dishes, cookware, etc., it has everything your 

family needs to enjoy meals while looking at beautiful Schroon 

Lake, from your "knock-your-socks-off" screened dining porch.  

This is without a doubt where your family will spend most of its 

cottage time.  A closeup view of the lake is complemented by a 

dining set & a lot of comfortable porch furniture.  As an added 

bonus, there is a large attached sundeck featuring relaxing 

chaises & a table on which to place those iced summer drinks.The 

downstairs features a full bath with shower & a large bedroom with 

a queen-size bed; perfect for those who cannot or do not like to 

climb stairs. There are 3 more large bedrooms upstairs; two with 

queen beds & one with a full. The upstairs' second bath features a 

very cool claw-footed tub. The unit is neat & clean, & charmingly 

decorated. It comes with a large Weber charcoal grill just waiting 

for your delicious hamburgers, steaks & kabobs!

COTTAGE #4 - Maximum 6 Guests

3 Bedrooms / 1 Bath

I have to say, this just might be my favorite Chamlar cottage!

Bright & sunny, pretty Cottage #4  is incredibly appealing &

perfect for UP TO 6 GUESTS, although many couples & smaller

parties also enjoy it for its charm & location. Surrounded by

summer flowers at its front door, Cottage #4 has (3) sizable 12' x 16'

bedrooms, a spacious eat-in kitchen, large modern bath & a

beautiful screened dining porch. The bedrooms feature summery

curtains, a dresser with mirror, nightstand, lamp & chair. Bedrooms 

1 & 2 each have a queen-size bed, & the third bedroom has 2 twins 

for up 2 additional guests. The roomy eat-in kitchen has full-size 

appliances, a coffeemaker, microwave, toaster oven & the "must

have" blender for those delicious summer smoothies or afternoon 

cocktails (Mojitos, anyone?). And the best place to sip those Mojitos 

is on your screened dining porch where you can enjoy a wonderful 

close-up view of Schroon Lake.  It's also a great place to be early in 

the morning, with the sun sparkling on the water. Imagine yourself 

in your comfortable porch chair reading the morning paper or

electronic tablet (Chamlar's guests enjoy FREE WiFi). The cottage

also comes with a large Weber charcoal grill ready to cook those 

tasty chicken kabobs & juicy T-bone steaks! Cottage #4 is quite 

beautifully decorated  just oozes country charm.

 COTTAGE #5 - Maximum 10 Guests

5 Bedrooms / 2 Baths

Once you move into Cottage #5, you may never want to leave, or

so our guests tell us!  Actually more of a large house than a cottage,

it's located right at the lakefront with an unbelievable view of the

water & surrounding mountains.  A beautiful garden runs the

entire 30' length of the front porch, featuring lilies, bee balm, black-

eyed Susans & many other summer blooms. Once inside, you

will find a 5 bedroom/2 bath house that will sleep UP TO 10 GUESTS.

Cottage #5's main floor features a beautifully decorated livingroom

with a TV/DVD player, a large bedroom with a queen-size bed (a

"must-have" for those guests who cannot or do not like to climb

stairs), full bath, spacious dining room & a big eat-in kitchen.

The kitchen has been newly re-modeled, & I made sure they put

in A LOT of cabinets! There's everything you need to set up

housekeeping:  full-size appliances, toaster oven, coffeemaker,

blender & microwave. It also has all the usual kitchen furnishings

such as dishes, cookware, glassware, etc.  Off the kitchen through

the sliding glass doors, you will find what you really came to

Schroon Lake for: a huge 25' x 15' screened dining / living porch

with a drop-dead gorgeous view of the lake you won't find any-

where else!  The porch features a dining table with chairs & a

wonderful patio set for relaxing on. This is absolutely where your 

family & guests will spend most of their time enjoying the lakefront

breezes. Upstairs there are 4 more comfortably-sized, bright

bedrooms which have been newly painted & charmingly decorated;

three with a queen-size bed, & one with two twin beds.  There is 

also another full bath on the second floor. A large Weber  charcoal 

grill comes with the cottage, so fire it up, put on the steaks, grab a 

Margarita & make yourself at home. Ahhh...summer at the lake!
